Hammond clinches District 7-5A title Hammonds Tornadoes clinched the District 7-5A championship with a 72-61 victory over the Slidell Tigers Monday at SHS. Slidell (22-9) is 11-2 in the league, while Hammond is 13-0. Both of the Tigers district losses have come to the Tornadoes.
